NCIS Season 15 preview

In the NCIS Season 14 finale, Agents McGee and Gibbs were left stranded in Paraguay after sending away the helicopter that was supposed to transport them to safety in order to save the lives of the children they had rescued from a group of local rebels. Our last shot of the duo was of one of them engaging in battle with the rebels on the ground that left us questioning what would happen to the veteran agents.

When the new season begins this September, two months will have passed since that fateful day in Paraguay and there has been no sign of Agent Gibbs or McGee since they were last seen fighting off the Paraguay rebels. As the first-look images (such as the one above and below) from the season premiere reveal, Gibbs and McGee have become the rebels’ new prisoners leaving them in desperate need of their team’s assistance.

During this time, the team has undergone quite a lot of changes back home with Agent Alex Quinn stepping away to tend to her mother (a departure which stems from Jennifer Esposito’s exit from the show after one season) leaving them down yet another member. With Gibbs and McGee MIA, Bishop has been forced to step into a leadership position as the team’s new senior field agent with Torres and Reeves there to help carry the workload.

sockshare While keeping up with the latest cases remains the team’s objective, their top priority continues to be finding their missing colleagues as what down in Paraguay remains at the forefront of everyone’s minds. The mission’s domino effects will also be felt beyond the scope of Gibbs and McGee’s disappearance with Torres and Vance both being summoned before a congressional hearing to speak to the fallout of the mission in Paraguay. sockshare
